UK Govt. Net Reserves Rise In October
(RTTNews) - UK Government’s net reserves increased US$555 million in October, the HM Treasury reported Wednesday. Net reserves totaled US$32.58 billion at the end of October. At the same time, gross reserves climbed to US$66.17 billion from US$65.74 billion at end-September.
Bank of England’s net holdings of foreign currency and gold fell US$3 million in October, bringing the end-October total to negative US$1 million. At the end of September, net holdings stood at US$1 million.
