UK Housing Prices +0.2% On Month In October
(RTTNews) - The average asking price of a home in the United Kingdom was up 0.2 percent to 156,400 pounds in October, according to property data manager Hometrack, climbing for the third consecutive month.
Prices also had added 0.2 percent in September.
On an annual basis, home prices were down 4.2 percent following the 5.6 percent contraction in the previous month.
The percentage of sellers achieving their full asking price climbed to 92.9 percent.
Home prices in London were up 0.4 percent on month, while prices in the north west and south east were up 0.2 percent.
