UK Revises M4 Money Supply Growth For September
(RTTNews) - Thursday, the Bank of England said in a final report that the M4 money supply increased 11.6% year-on-year in September, slower than the 12.3% growth in the previous month. The September money supply growth was revised from 11.3% increase reported initially.
On a monthly basis, the money supply rose 0.8% in September, unrevised from the previous month. The money supply showed a flat reading in August.
Meanwhile, the M4 lending, excluding the effects of securitisations etc. increased 7.8% on an annual basis in September, revised from 7.8% growth reported initially. It was up 0.7% from the previous month.
