Stock Picks For Thursday: American Oriental Bioengineering And EarthLink

Earthlink (ELNK) tried to break out on Wednesday, but the week market pulled the stock down from its high on the day. The stock hit a high of $8.84 which is now resistance for Thursday’s follow through move. Although this trend is encouraging, the near-term outlook stays cautious till the stock closes conclusively above this level on heavy volume. Bulls could remain invested with a stop loss at $8.34.

American Oriental Bioengineering (AOB) is now trading back above the 10 day moving average which is very bullish. Wednesday’s high is resistance for a follow through bounce move on Thursday. I’m buyer of AOB once the stock breaks through these highs and expect to see a strong upside move. Short-term investors can buy with a stop at $4,64 and long-term investors can hold with a stop at $4,56. Let’s keep an eye on her as i think momentum will pick up.
