Stock Picks For Tuesday: Apple, CIT Group And Curis

Curis (CRIS) - The near-term outlook is positive and a move to $2.47-$2.50 appears likely. CRIS continues to consolidate, but could make a breakout move soon. The stock is sitting on its 5-day moving average, gaining momentum for an upcoming move. Resistance is $2.47. I expect to see a strong upside move if CRISI can break through this resistance level. Watch the stock closely on Tuesday.

Apple (AAPL) is trading higher after hours on Monday, as the company released good earnings. I expect the stock to gap higher on Tuesday due to this good news. AAPL has been trading in a channel the past few days and should break above on Tuesday. The high of this channel is $194.04, which is resistance for my buy point. The stock will have a lot of volume on Tuesday and if it holds up, will give you many trading opportunities.

CIT (CIT) - The stock is still facing resistance around $1.36 ( near its 50-day moving average ). Fresh long should be made only when the stock moves above this resistance level. The technical chart is still showing weakness as MACD is below 0. However with K line back above D line and stock back above 10-day moving average we may see some rally coming.
