UNG And DTO Are The Two Most Dangerous ETFs Right Now

By David Bettencourt on September 25, 2009 | More Posts By David Bettencourt | Author's Website

Don Dion, from TheStreet.com, identifies two ETFs that he says, “can wreck your portfolio.”

These portfolio wrecking ETFs are: The United States Natural Gas (UNG) and PowerShares DB Crude Oil Double Short ETN (DTO).

Don says, “Both of these ETFs have layers of risk heaped onto already complex strategies. Internal and external forces have made them riskier than they outwardly appear, so it is especially important for investors to understand the multiple reasons why these funds are the top two most dangerous for buy-and-hold investors.”
