India Forex Reserves Decline

(RTTNews) - Friday, the Reserve Bank of India said in a report that the foreign exchange reserves stood at US$ 271.025 billion as on August 14, down from US$ 271.239 billion as on August 7.

At the same time, the foreign currency assets decreased to US$ 260.010 billion from US$ 260.219 billion in the previous month. The gold reserves remained unchanged at US$ 9.671 billion.

Meanwhile, the reserve position with the International Monitory Fund dropped to US$ 1.344 billion from US$ 1.348 billion.
