$2billion Good Dollars After Bad Dollars

By David Spurr on August 6, 2009 | More Posts By David Spurr | Author's Website

Here’s the text of the bill to take $2 billion from people in the country and hand it out to car manufacturers. We’re taking good cars that run and destroying them to maintain an industry. Pathetic.

The reasons that it got held up in the Senate is that there have been a bunch of ammendments to the original bill. Additional appropriations - for the Dept of Agriculture etc., that have nothing to do with the contents of the original bill.
