NASDAQ: 10 Consecutive Days UP
By David Spurr on July 23, 2009 | More Posts By David Spurr | Author's Website
I ran numbers on how many times since 1971 we’ve have 10 consecutive up days in the Nasdaq. The graphic above shows that there have been 111 occurrences of 10 consecutive up days out of a total of 9703 observations. It’s not a very common event.
Interesting to note that odds are good that we’ll have another up day. Out of the 111 occurrences of 10 consecutive up days, 74 have been followed by an 11th up day.
