India’s May Exports Drop 29%

(RTTNews) - India’s exports for the month of May 2009 dropped 29.2% to $11,010 million compared to $15,550 million in May 2008, said the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in a release. The country’s imports during the month declined 39.2% to $16,212 million from $26,684 million. The trade deficit during the month was $5,202 million compared to a deficit of $11,133 million.
