Isle Of Capri Casinos Beats In Q4

Isle of Capri Casinos (ISLE) reported adjusted fiscal fourth-quarter profit today that bettered analysts’ expectations, sending shares higher by 1.35%.
The casino operator earned 15 cents per share, excluding items, compared with the consensus’ loss estimate of 2 cents.
Sales dipped 2% to $287.2 million.
Isle’s income from continuing operations for the year stood at $59.4 million, or $1.89 per share. Revenue was flat at $1.12 billion.
For the fiscal year ending April 2010, the consensus estimate is currently pegged at a loss of 25 cents per share.
Isle of Capri Casinos, a Zacks #2 Rank (”Buy”) company, is trading on abnormally high volume of 1.3 million shares, against the daily average of 458,940.
