The 18.9% Two-Month Return For The World Stock Market (March & April) Is The Highest Since 1986

The MSCI World Stock Market Index (data available here) closed on Friday at close to a four-month high, and is up by 30% from the March 9 low.
The two-month return from February to April of 18.9% is the highest two-month return for the World Stock Market Index in more than two decades, since 1986 (19.2% two-month return for Jan.-March), and the third highest two-month return in history (the 24% two-month return through Febuary 1975 was the highest in the history of the MSCI World Index, back to 1969).
