UK House Price +1.2% on Month, -9.1% on Year in Feb

(RTTNews) - House prices in Great Britain were up 1.2 percent in February compared to the previous month, the property Web site Rightmove said on Monday - marking the first monthly increase since an identical jump in May 2008.

But on an annual basis, the data showed that house prices plunged by 9.1 percent for the largest decline since the index was started in 2002.

House prices had fallen 1.9 percent on month in January, and were down 7.3 percent on year.
