E-Mini S&P 500 Futures: Support And Resistance Levels
By David Spurr on December 11, 2008 | More Posts By David Spurr | Author's Website
The E-Mini S&P 500 futures seems to be stalling in a range between 919.25 and 885 or so. A break of 885 could send us down to the 867.50 level quickly. A failure at that level could begin the process of setting up a retest of the lows. A break of the overhead trendline would see us retest 919.25. A push above 919.25 opens the door to smooth sailing toward the 970 area.
Total NYSE volume has been getting lighter since we made the 919.25 level. To push this market higher, we’re going to need some stronger upside volume - we need a 2bn share up day to push through the 919.25.
