New Zealand Credit Card Spending Rises in September
(RTTNews) - Tuesday, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand said total credit card billings in New Zealand rose 2.6% annually in September, the same as in August. On a monthly basis, spending showed 1.1% growth, reversing a 0.1% fall in August.
Further, the central bank said domestic card spending was up 2.7% year-on-year in September, following a 2.4% rise in the prior month. Meanwhile, overseas card spending moved up 1.9%, down from August’s 3.6%.
