Case For 24/7 Trading

By David Spurr on October 17, 2008 | More Posts By David Spurr | Author's Website

I’ve been making a case for 24hr trading to help minimize volatility in the equity markets. Here’s the Exxon Mobil (XOM) chart for yesterday and today. You can see that this stock jumped almost 10% in pre-market trading. The GAP between 7pm and 7am is a huge gap, which excludes many investors. 24-Hour Trading would help to eliminate these gaps!
