On an annual basis, the export price index rose 2%, while the import price index was up 5.7% in September. Month-on-month, export prices increased 0.1% whereas import prices fell 1.5%.

In September, the basic price index for domestic supply rose 6.4% year-on-year, but dropped 0.7% on a monthly basis.

Meanwhile, the wholesale price index rose 6.1% year-on-year, but declined 0.9% month-on-month in September.
