Swiss Employment Increases in Q2

(RTTNews) - Thursday, the Swiss Federal Statistical Office said in its quarterly report that that the employment increased 2.4% in the second quarter from the previous year. Economists were looking for an annual rise of 2.1%. Employment in the industrial sector grew 2.4% and that in service sector improved 2.5% in the second quarter.

Meanwhile, the employment level stood at 3.924 million, larger than the consensus forecast of 3.911 million.
