Vanguard is becoming more worldly, as the provider has launched an all-world exchange traded fund (ETF) on NYSE Arca.
Vanguard Total World Stock ETF (VT) is based on the FTSE All-World Index, and tracks the performance of 2,900 stocks of companies in 47 different countries, including both emerging and developed markets.
This adds to the circle of other all-world ETFs, aka one-size-fits-all investing. These types of ETFs are a good option for the investors who doesn’t have the time to do intensive research.
- iShares MSCI/ACWI Index ETF (ACWI), down 1.4% since March 28 inception
- SPDR S&P International Small-Cap ETF (GWX), down 10.2% year-to-date
- SPDR MSCI/ACWI ex-US ETF (CWI), down 10.1% year-to-date
