Powerful Women International is proud to present its annual Women of Legacy Awards Conference now in its third year. The event was created for compassionate women of courage that use their innate gifts to positively impact world change. The event is designed to inspire, and motivate women (and men) to live their dreams fulfilled, and step into their power with purpose. All in attendance will be inspired through keynote Laurel Bellows, president of the American Bar Association and principal of Bellows Law Group, P.C. She will be speaking on anti-human trafficking, and what we can all do to spot those in trouble and how to help them, as well empowering women in the workplace. Seval Oz, business development manager of Self Driving Cars with Google Inc. is part of the speaker line-up and will be awarded for her work in creating a safe environment for those who are no longer mobile, to live a fulfilled life. Other speakers and awardees include Darlene Willman, Sahar Kordahi and Donna Stoering. More information about these gifted women and what they will be honored for can be found on womenoflegacyawards dot com.

This year’s theme will build on leaving a legacy, by celebrating those who are making our world a safer place to grow individually and professionally, and the diverse ways that is done. Laurel Bellows has dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of women. Not just through her work as president of the American Bar Association, but within her own business–Bellows Law Group, P.C. She not only battles against those that violate our rights through human trafficking, but strives to make our world a safer place. She is leaving a legacy we can all aspire to. “Across America, hundreds of thousands of human trafficking victims are hiding in plain sight. Our legal system unwittingly turns a blind eye to this phenomenon that feeds on violence, deception and secrecy. Eradicating human trafficking will allow women, and their children to live and work independently and free of harm. I hope my work ensures safe passage for women to achieve their aspirations, and leaves a legacy that will inspire all women,” says Bellows. She has also made courageous strides in helping women break through the glass ceiling, to live their dreams fulfilled.

“We are honored to have the president of the American Bar Association keynote our event. It will be a privilege to honor her in return by presenting her with the Women of Legacy Award,” says Valeri Bocage, founder and chairwoman of Powerful Women International. The Women of Legacy Awards and Conference event brings people together to honor inspiring women of courage that put family and life balance as priority, while using their innate gifts to impact society for women, families and communities globally. The event provides an opportunity to build relationships, collaborate with women in business, non-profits and government.
