South Korean Consumer Confidence Eases From Seven-Year High In November
(RTTNews) - Consumer confidence in South Korea declined for the first time in eight months in November, on concerns that the economic recovery may not be sustainable, the Bank of Korea said Tuesday. Moreover, the consumer confidence eased from seven-year high seen in October.
The consumer sentiment index dropped to 113 in November from 117 in the previous month. The October reading was the highest since the first quarter of 2002. A reading above 100 indicates optimists exceed pessimists.
The consumer sentiment survey was conducted among 2,200 households in 56 major cities between November 10 and 17.
