Poland Producer Price Inflation Rises In October

(RTTNews) - Thursday, Poland’s Central Statistical Office announced that the producer price index or PPI rose 2% year-on-year in October, faster than the 1.6% growth in the previous month. Economists were looking fir an increase of 1.7%.

Producer prices for manufacturing slipped 0.8% on an annual basis in October, while producer prices for mining and quarrying surged 16.9%.

On a monthly basis, the PPI increased 0.3% in October, after falling 0.2% in September.

For the January to October period, producer prices climbed 3.6% compared to the same period of the previous year.
