Slovenia Sept. Trade Deficit Narrows

(RTTNews) - Monday, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia announced that the trade deficit stood at EUR 11.89 million in September, narrowing from EUR 164.19 million deficit in the previous month.

Exports decreased 20.3% year-on-year to EUR 1.49 billion in September, while imports dropped 29% to EUR 1.50 billion.

For the January to September period, exports and imports decreased by 22.3% and 29.5% respectively compared to the same period of the previous year. During the period, the trade deficit amounted to EUR 552.49 billion.
