German Industrial Orders Rise In September

(RTTNews) - German industrial orders rose 0.9% month-on-month in September, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology said Friday. Economists had expected 1% rise.

On an annual basis, factory orders were down 13.1%, slower than a 13.6% decline predicted.

At the same time, the ministry revised August’s monthly increase to 2.1% from 1.4% reported earlier. Annual decline is revised to 19.8% from initially reported 20.4% fall.
