Romania Industrial Turnover, New Orders Increase In September

(RTTNews) - Thursday, Romania’s National Institute of Statistics said in a report that the industrial turnover increased 13.7% month-on-month in September. Meanwhile, turnover in manufacturing industry rose 14%.

On an annual basis, industrial turnover was down 15% in September, while manufacturing turnover fell 15.3%.

During the January to September period, industrial turnover declined 16.7% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Separately, the statistical office said the new industrial orders in nominal terms increased 31.3% on a monthly basis in September, and it was down 19.3% compared to the previous year. For the first nine months of the year, new industrial orders fell 20.6%.
