Luxembourg Consumer Prices Rise Modestly In October

(RTTNews) - Thursday, Luxembourg’s Central Service for Statistics and Economic Studies said in a report that the consumer price index or CPI rose 0.08% year-on-year in October, faster than the 0.02% growth in the previous month.

By commodities, prices in the leisure, entertainment & culture group recorded the biggest increase in prices, rising 5.41% in October. On the other hand, the housing, water, electricity & fuels group witnessed the biggest decrease, down 3.45%.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.09% in October, marginally slower than the 0.11% decrease in the preceding month.
