Dutch Consumer Price Inflation Rises In October
(RTTNews) - Thursday, Netherlands’ Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 0.7% year-on-year in October, faster than the 0.4% growth in the previous month. Economists expected an increase of 0.6%. A year earlier, the CPI was up 2.8%.
On a monthly basis, the CPI increased 0.1% in October, slower than the 0.5% growth in the preceding month. Economists were looking for a decline of 0.1%.
Meanwhile, the harmonized index of consumer prices or HICP rose 0.4% year-on-year in October, after a flat reading in September.
