Latvia Industrial Output Drops In September

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, the Central Bureau of Latvia announced that the industrial production decreased a working day adjusted 15.3% year-on-year in September, compared to the 12.5% fall in the previous month.

Manufacturing production fell 15.1% on an annual basis in September, while mining and quarrying production dropped 3%

On a monthly basis, industrial production slipped a seasonally adjusted 1.6% in September, in contrast to a 2.6% growth in the previous month.

In the third quarter, production increased 0.5% compared to the previous quarter.

For the January to September period, industrial production decreased a working day adjusted 18.8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
