New Zealand ANZ Commodity Prices Rise At Slower Pace In October

(RTTNews) - New Zealand’s main export commodity prices climbed 4.6% on a monthly basis in October, slowing from a 6.8% rise in September, the latest ANZ Commodity Price Index showed Tuesday.

The index increased mainly due to 8.3% rise in dairy prices. During the month, prices of 11 commodities rose, while that of two declined.

In New Zealand dollar terms, the commodity price index fell 0.4% month-on-month in October, with the increase in the index being offset by a rising kiwi dollar.
