Japan Auto Sales Increase Further In October - JADA

(RTTNews) - Japan’s auto sales grew for the third consecutive month in October, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association said on Friday.

Auto sales, excluding mini vehicles increased 12.6% in October from the same period of last year. In September, sales had increased 3.5%.

In October, automobile sales totaled 263,506 units, the JADA said.

For the January to October period, auto sales decreased 15.5% compared to the same period of the previous year. Auto sales totaled 2,377,201 units.

Separately, the Japan Mini Vehicle Association said the mini vehicle sales dropped 8.9% year-on-year to 132,452 units in October.
