Australian Commodity Prices Rise In October
(RTTNews) - Australia’s commodity price index in SDR terms rose 0.7% month-on-month in October, after remaining unchanged in September, the Reserve Bank of Australia said Monday.
The largest contributors to the rise in October were increases in the prices of gold, oil, and wool in SDR terms. However, prices of iron ore and coal declined.
In Australian dollar terms,the index fell 3.7% in October, following a 2% decrease in September.
