New Zealand’s Total Official Reserve Assets Increase In September

(RTTNews) - New Zealand’s total reserve assets increased to NZ$20 billion in September from NZ$19.2 billion in the previous month, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand said Thursday.

Foreign currency reserves expanded for the first time in seven months and stood at NZ$14.3 billion, compared to NZ$13.53 billion in the previous month.

Further, the central bank said other reserve assets amounted to NZ$943 million, while the treasury total stood at NZ$4.75 billion in September, up from the previous month’s NZ$4.43 billion.
