Swiss CPI Falls More Than Expected In September

(RTTNews) - Switzerland’s consumer price index or CPI fell 0.9% year-on-year in September after falling 0.8% in August, the Federal Statistical Office said Tuesday. Economists had forecast consumer prices to decline 0.8%. A year ago, inflation was 2.9% in September.

On a monthly basis, the CPI was flat in September, while it was expected to rise 0.1% after an increase of 0.1% in August.
