Lithuania Producer Prices Decline In August

(RTTNews) - Monday, the Statistics Lithuania announced that the producer price index or PPI dropped 18.9% year-on-year in August, compared to the 19.4% fall in the previous month. A year ago, producer prices had grown 25.6%.

Producer prices for manufacturing dropped 21.2% annually in August, while PPI for mining and quarrying fell 21.8%.

On a monthly basis, the PPI increased 0.9% in August, after falling 2% in July. Manufacturing output prices rose 1.5%.
