Czech Republic Revises Q2 GDP Growth
(RTTNews) - Tuesday, the Czech Statistical Office announced that the gross domestic product or GDP increased 0.1% sequentially in the second quarter, compared with a 4.8% fall seen in the previous quarter. The second quarter GDP was revised from the 0.3% growth reported initially.
On an annual basis, the GDP dropped 5.5% in the second quarter, revised from the 4.9% fall estimated initially. This was the biggest decrease ever for the Czech Republic, the statistical office said. In the first quarter, the GDP was down 4.5%.
