Estonia Consumer Prices Decline Further

(RTTNews) - Monday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the consumer price index or CPI decreased 0.9% year-on-year in August, compared to the 0.7% fall recorded in the previous month.

Food and non-alcoholic beverages prices dropped 5.7% annually in August, while clothing and footwear prices rose 0.9%. Transport charges were down 6.2%.

On a monthly basis, the CPI remained unchanged in August, after a 0.9% increase in the previous month.
