Poland Retail Sales Increase In July

(RTTNews) - Tuesday, the Central Statistical Office of Poland announced that the retail sales increased 5.7% year-over-year in July, faster than the 0.9% growth in the previous month. Economists were looking for an increase of 1.4%. A year earlier, retail sales were up 14.3%.

On a monthly basis, retail sales increased 6.9% in July, accelerating from 2.2% rise seen in the preceding month. Economists had expected an increase of 2.2%.
