Singapore Consumer Prices Continue To Fall In July
(RTTNews) - Consumer prices in Singapore fell 0.5% year-on-year in July, at the same pace as in June, the Department of Statistics said Monday. Economists expected an increase of 0.3%. Excluding accommodation costs, consumer prices fell 1.3%.
Compared with the previous month, consumer prices rose 1.1% in July, mainly due to higher costs of housing as also transport and communication. Excluding accommodation costs, consumer prices were up 0.6%. Seasonally adjusted, consumer prices climbed 0.3%.
