Iceland Wages Climb In July

(RTTNews) - Monday, a report by Statistics Iceland said wages climbed 0.4% month-on-month in July, faster than a 0.2% rise in the preceding month. This is the third consecutive month that wages have grown.

In the twelve months to July, wages were up 2.6%, slower than a 3% growth in June.

Meanwhile, the real wages rose 0.2% in July from the preceding month, but decreased 7.8% from the previous year.
