Malta July Retail Price Index Falls
(RTTNews) - Friday, Malta’s National Statistical Office announced that the retail price index dropped 0.37% month-on-month in July, after falling 0.43% in June.
Food prices dropped 2.10%, while clothing and footwear prices declined 7.63%. Prices for water, electricity, gas and fuels were down 0.59%.
On an annual basis, retail prices increased 1.48% in July, slower than the 2.74% growth in the previous month.
