Estonia Producer Prices Decline Further In July

(RTTNews) - Friday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the producer price index or PPI decreased 1.6% year-on-year in July, compared with a 1.2% fall in the preceding month.

Manufacturing prices dropped 3.2% in July, after falling 3.3% in June. However, mining prices and energy supply prices rose 6.9% and 12.4% respectively

On a monthly basis, the PPI increased 0.5% in July, following a 0.2% drop in June.

Meanwhile, export price index decreased 5.4% year-on-year in July, compared with a 5.3% fall in the previous month. Export prices remained unchanged compared to the prior month.

Import prices decreased 7.7% annually in July, after a 7.9% fall in the previous month. Month-on-month, import prices increased 0.7%.
