Japan All Industry Activity Index On Tap For Wednesday

(RTTNews) - Japan is scheduled to release June numbers for its all industry activity index on Wednesday, setting the pace for a light day in Asian economic news. Also due are final July figures for machine tool orders.

The activity index is predicted to climb 0.3 percent on month following the 0.7 percent gain in May. Machine tool orders plummeted 72.2 percent on year in June.

Malaysia will announce July numbers for its consumer price index, with analysts expecting a contraction of 2.4 percent on year following the 1.4 percent annual decline in June.
