Finland Job Vacancies Decline In Q2

(RTTNews) - Wednesday, the Statistics Finland announced that the job vacancies dropped 37% or 37,800 in the second quarter, compared to the 60,100 vacancies in a year earlier. There were 46 100 job vacancies in the first quarter.

The Job vacancies decreased in all sectors. The number of job vacancies decreased most in trade, manufacturing and construction, the statistical office said.

The part time vacancies increased 21% in the second quarter from 14% last year, while fixed term vacancies grew 64% from 50% in a year ago. Hard to fill vacancies increased 33%.

The job vacancy survey produces quarterly information about open job vacancies in Finland.
