Austria June Producer Price Drop Steepest Since 1999

(RTTNews) - Austria industrial producer prices dropped 2.3% year-on-year in June, much faster than a 1.2% fall in the previous month, the Statistics Austria said Wednesday. This was the fourth consecutive month of decline and marked the steepest drop in producer prices since April 1999, when prices fell 2.5%.

Compared to the previous month, producer prices fell 0.3%, reversing a 0.7% rise in May. For the first half of the year, producer prices slipped 0.7% compared to the same period last year.
