Swiss Producer And Import Prices Drop Further In June

(RTTNews) - Monday, a report by Switzerland’s Federal Statistical Office said producer and import prices dropped 5.6% year-on-year in June, faster than a 5% drop in the preceding month. Economists expected a fall of 5.4%.

During the month, the producer prices were down 3.4% annually, while the imports prices declined 9.6%.

On a monthly basis, producer and import prices remained flat, after falling 0.3% in May. Economists were expecting a 0.1% increase. The producer prices slipped 0.1%, while the import prices were unchanged in June.
