Czech May Industrial Output Fall Revised

(RTTNews) - Monday, a final report by the Czech Statistical Office said industrial output dropped 22% year-on-year in May, revised from a 21.7% drop reported on June 30. In April, output fell 22.1%.

After adjusting for working day effects, industrial output was down 20.1% annually in May. On a monthly basis, industrial output fell a seasonally adjusted 2.1%.

The value of new orders declined 27.8% in May from the previous year, while industrial sales fell 23.4%.

Meanwhile, construction output at constant prices slipped 2.1% year-on-year in May, and after working day adjustments, fell 1.2%. Compared to the previous month, the construction output was down a seasonally adjusted 4.1%.
