Portugal Consumer Prices Fall Further In June

(RTTNews) - Consumer prices in Portugal dropped 1.6% year-on-year in June, sharper than a 1.2% fall in the previous month, the Statistics Portugal said Friday. Consumer prices declined for the fourth consecutive month in June. Excluding energy and unprocessed food, consumer prices rose 0.3% annually.

Month-on-month, consumer prices were up 0.1% in June, after falling 0.2% in May.

Meanwhile, the harmonized index of consumer prices fell 1.6% annually in June compared to a 1.2% fall in the preceding month. Compared to the previous month, the harmonized consumer prices were up 0.2%.
