Cyprus Trade Deficit Rises In May

(RTTNews) - Cyprus’s trade deficit in May was EUR 388.18 million, up from EUR 363.51 million deficit in April, the statistical office said Friday.

There were total imports worth EUR 478.6 million in May, of which EUR 352.9 million were arrivals from other Member States of E.U. and EUR 125.7 million imports from Third countries.

At the same time, Cyprus’s total exports amounted to EUR 90.4 million, of which EUR 61.1 million were dispatches to other Member States of E.U. and EUR 29.2 million exports to Third Countries, the statistical office said.
