Slovak Trade Deficit Narrows In May

(RTTNews) - Friday, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic said in a report that the trade deficit stood at EUR 94.8 million in May, down by EUR 16.9 million from last year.

Total exports fell 29.9% annually to EUR 2.98 billion, while total imports dropped 30.2% to EUR 2.88 billion.

In the first five months of the year, the trade surplus was EUR 387.5 million. Exports were down 27.8%, while imports fell 30.1% from the same period last year.
