S. Africa’s Factory Output Continues To Fall In May

(RTTNews) - South Africa’s manufacturing output fell 17.1% year-on-year in May after falling a revised 21.8% in April, the Statistics South Africa said Thursday. The decline was close to a 17.6% fall economists predicted.

On a monthly basis, seasonally adjusted factory output rose 1%, in contrast to the forecast for a 0.1% decline.
